Taking part in AussieTally
Eligibility and honest participation
Voting is for people currently living in Australia who are at least 18. Use a mobile number you control and give accurate demographic details. Do not use extra accounts, automation or someone else’s number to submit duplicate votes.
Your vote
Choose Yes or No, complete verification and confirm. Your vote is counted only after confirmation and cannot then be changed. Results reflect participants, not every Australian. AussieTally is independent and is not an official election, referendum or government consultation.
Suggestions and moderation
Voting and suggesting topics are free at launch. Suggestions require a clear federal question and a supporting source. Do not submit abuse, unlawful material, private information or content you are not entitled to share. We may reject, close or remove topics and restrict accounts that misuse the service.
Using the data
You may download and reuse public aggregate results. Attribute AussieTally, include the topic and snapshot time, preserve demo labels and explain that participation is self-selected. Do not present a withheld group as zero or claim the data is a representative poll.
Availability and contact
We aim to keep the service accurate and available, but outages and mistakes can occur. Report errors, accessibility barriers or concerns to hello@aussietally.com.au. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
